Further development of the BBSR accessibility analyses (2017-2018)

As a model project of spatial planning (MORO), the project Methodical Further Development of the Accessibility Analyses of the BBSR was carried out on behalf of the Federal Institute for Research on Building, Urban Affairs and Spatial Development in the Federal Office for Building and Regional Planning (BBSR). In the project, the existing forward-looking and innovative approaches to the analysis and modelling of spatial transport accessibility as well as possible new data sources are to be processed in order to derive conceptual-methodological and strategic recommendations for the further development of the accessibility analyses of the BBSR. The project is being carried out under the leadership of S&W with the Department of Freight Transport Planning and Transport Logistics at the University of Wuppertal and the Forschungsbüro Scheiner (FBS) from Dortmund.
