GP care and accessibility of services of general interest in the Leinebergland (2017-2019)

The Region Leinebergland e.V. has developed a regional strategy to secure the supply of doctors and basic infrastructure in the Leinebergland. The project was funded by the Office for Regional Development Leine-Weser. S&W supported the Leinebergland region during this process. For this purpose, S&W prepared the necessary data, recorded and mapped the locations of public services, carried out a population forecast until 2035 and a GP demand analysis, applied a small-scale population distribution model, analysed the public transport services and the accessibility by car, public transport, bicycle/e-bike and on foot.
