User-friendly data tool for data collection and data updating of structures of regional services of general interest (2020)

Through the MORO network Daseinsvorsorge, its members expressed the need for a user-friendly data tool for data collection and data updating of structures of regional services of general interest. On behalf of the Federal Ministry of the Interior, for Construction and Home Affairs (BMI) and the Federal Institute for Research on Building, Urban Affairs and Spatial Development in the Federal Office for Building and Regional Planning (BBSR), S&W, together with the MORO network regions, specified the content-related, functional and technical requirements for a data tool in a preliminary study for a "user-friendly data tool for data collection and data updating of structures of regional services of general interest". The data tool is to be developed for data collection, updating and processing of structures of services of general interest and made available for regions and inter-municipal cooperations. Both the members of the network and other rural regions facing similar challenges should be able to access the data tool to be developed as potential users, for example for inventory analysis, scenario analysis or monitoring purposes.
